1F Spring 1 Weeks 1&2
Date: 13th Jan 2020 @ 4:06pm
A little late but welcome back! I have really enjoyed hearing about all the things you got up to over The Christmas holidays! A VERY big thank you to everyone who read over Christmas, it really does make a big difference to your child's progress :).
We have had a very busy two weeks in 1F, we have been exploring poetry and learning '1, 2, 3, 4, 5 once I caught a fish alive'. We came up with our own actions as well as writing our own acrostic poem about Fish! This week our class book is the story of Little Red Riding Hood.
We have been exploring numbers to 20 in maths, the children have really impressed me counting forwards and backwards as well as identifying how many tens and ones are in each number.
In Art we have been learning about Antony Gormley and in Computing we have been exploring algorithms.
Star of the week: Charlotte Richmond and Luke Kershaw.
Miss Ford :)
