Welcome to our website

On behalf of the Larkfield family, I would like to welcome you to our website, which will hopefully give you a flavour of our school and an insight into some of our activities.

Our school sits at the North end of Southport on a large, secure green site, catering for over 300 pupils, aged between 4 and 11 years of age. Our school mission is:

'For all our children to enjoy successful learning in a safe and happy environment'

We aim to provide a stimulating, aspirational and caring environment so that our children leave as well-educated, confident, and resilient members of the community; well-prepared for the next stage of their education and life in modern Britain.

Children are proud to attend Larkfield and this is reflected in high standards of work, behaviour and appearance. Our teaching and support staff are committed and talented professionals who continue to strive for the best for all of our pupils. Together with our parents, we collectively ensure that Larkfield is a happy, hard working and inclusive learning community.

They attribute this to the way in which staff teach them to manage their own mental health. As a result of this work, pupils are confident to be themselves and are accepting of each other's differences.
