2G Summer 2 Week 3
Date: 20th Jun 2019 @ 7:31am
This week went went to Churchtown to learn all about its history. The children really enjoyed learning about what the buildings used to be. They also produced a lovely recount of their visit. The children enjoyed using their British passports to leave and renter the school!
We have also planted seeds this week in preparation for ‘Enterprise Week’. All will be revealed!!
We are continuing to to apply all of our maths skills learnt this year in our maths lessons.
The children have loved reading ‘Emily Brown and the Thing’. This week they pretended to be Emily and wrote a letter to the Thing. He had asked them to retrieve a green crystal from the Hidden World. I was very pleased with the children’s writers. We definitely have some budding authors in 2G!
We have also finished our China fact books. The children even added pop-up people! Well done 2G!
Star of the Week: Nevaeh Haughton and Aanya Meadows
